Bungy Academy™ Bungy Trampoline equipment has been tested and approved by the most stringent governing bodies in the amusement industry worldwide.
Bungy Academy™ carries full comprehensive Public Liability Insurance, current Department of Labour (DOL) amusement device certification and complies with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policy requirements and holds appropriate council permits to operate.

WEATHER
Bungy Academy™ reserves the right to cancel any booking for any reason that could present a safety issue in any way. This includes wet weather and windy conditions.
EQUIPMENT OVERVIEW
Bungy Academy™ Bungy Trampoline structures are made in Germany and the USA from the highest quality components and exceed the German TUV rating, the American ASTM and New Zealand Amusement Industry standards.
- Winch motors complete with RCD unit are compliant to New Zealand, European and American safety standards.
- Ropes used on winches and jump stations are all of the highest quality mountaineering Spectra Cord.
- All Carabineers and Pulleys used are rated and tested climbing accessories.
SAFETY
Bungy Academy™ operates the following safety systems:
For your safety, fencing and clearly visible safety signage ensures that all participants and spectators are made aware of safety requirements before commencing their turn.
Participant will be given instruction by coaches and it may be necessary to complete the following:
- Latex elastic loop system that ensures complete failures are non-existent (there is always more than one elastic holding the participant).
- New improved 3-point harness system also ensures total safety and comfort.
For your safety, fencing and clearly visible safety signage ensures that all participants and spectators are made aware of safety requirements before commencing their turn.
Participant will be given instruction by coaches and it may be necessary to complete the following:
- Tie up long hair.
- Remove bracelets, bangles and watches.
- Remove shoes.
- Remove loose items from pockets.
- Coaches will do a quick check - easy!
